A new year already? I don’t do typical “resolutions” such as a diet or quiting smoking etc. But I do try to reflect and refocus my efforts. My 2022 plan is as follows:
2019/2020: Look at everything a different way (from more than one angle/not just my perspective.) Even though this is more of an internal shift it has been life changing and has opened doors that opened other doors that I’m sure it will lead me to even more doors in the future.
2021: Boss up and change my life (make some real world changes for the better.) Fear and… well… fear along with all of its manifestations has made this one more difficult. It seems its a lot harder to throw yourself on the mercy of the world when your 47 and know how easy it is to fail (fall) and how bad it hurts when you do.
Just deciding to act is easier said than done so I’m going to add a condition to last years plan. I think a lot of my fear of failure (the future) is caused by looking back. The past is only valuable in this context when used to learn how to live today better.
2022: Eyes Front: (no more dwelling on the past.)
